Volume: 1 mL up to > 50 mL.
Collection source: Whole blood sourced from hospitals, specialist clinics, and medical care centers (MVZs).
Collection process: A continuously standardized workflow is applied, including blood collection, centrifugation, double‑spin plasma processing, and storage. Samples are collected under informed consent, fully anonymized, and accompanied by extensive clinical data and patient history, ensuring high and reproducible sample quality. Serological testing is performed in‑house using CE‑approved. Additional analytical testing is available upon request.
Anticoagulant: K2EDTA, Cell-Free DNA BCT® Streck tubes.
Storage & shipping: Stored at -20 °C until -80 °C; shipped on dry ice or dry shipper within 24 hours in Central Europe.
Depending on the requested cfDNA and study requirements, the following donor information and sample characterization data can be provided:
Donor demographics: Age, gender, weight, height, BMI, ethnicity, smoking and alcohol consumption status, country of collection, and collection date and time.
Serology: Serological testing for Anti-HIV, Anti-HCV and HBsAg is performed in-house using CE-approved assays.
Clinical background: Diagnosis and disease indication (ICD-code), concomitant medications, treatment and disease status, allergies, relevant comorbidities or additional diseases. Customization options to individual requirements.
All data are provided in accordance with ethical approvals, informed consent, and applicable data protection regulations.
