Sample formats: FFPE blocks, slides, curls and TMAs; customizable upon request.
Collection & processing: Standardized fixation and embedding protocols ensure consistent quality and optimal preservation of DNA, RNA and proteins. All samples are processed and stored under strict quality standards. Section quality and tissue integrity are histologically assessed by our pathology team to confirm the diagnosis and provide relevant tumor-associated information.
Matched samples: Patient-matched pairs reduce variability and enable precise detection of disease-specific changes. Available pairs include tumor and adjacent normal tissue, primary and metastatic tumors, and primary and relapse tumors. Additional matched pairs are available upon request.
Additional characterization: IHC with standardized or custom-developed protocols, with full support from sample preparation for analysis. OncoScreen panels for precise mutation analysis via multiplex PCR, single base extension and mass spectrometry, covering key genes including BRAF, EGFR, ERBB2, KRAS, NRAS, PIK3CA and POLE.
Storage & shipping: Stored at room temperature; tracked shipping.
Depending on the requested FFPE tissue and research requirements, the following donor information and sample characterization data can be provided:
Donor demographics: Gender, age.
Clinical background: Tissue type, organ, diagnosis, specification, case year.
Pathology data: Confirmed diagnosis/ICD-code, tissue/tumor origin, tumor type, tumor grading and TNM classification, if available/applicable.

All samples are either anonymized left-over material from standard-of-care/routine diagnostics or have been prospectively collected or are part of a plasma donation. We confirm, that all samples have been obtained in compliance with the applicable legal and ethical requirements prevailing in the country of origin. The samples provided by us could be used for research and/or development and/or validation purposes.
